I’m so grateful that my mum is living at Lilac Residence SeaPark. It’s a genuinely warm and friendly environment where she is treated with care, dignity, and kindness. The staff are consistently lovely – thoughtful, patient, and truly invested in the wellbeing of the residents.
The home itself is clean, calm, and welcoming, and there’s a comforting sense of familiarity and routine that has really helped my mum settle in. One of the things I appreciate most is that the team go the extra mile to provide engaging activities – it’s clear that they understand how important it is to keep minds and spirits active.
Another special touch is the location. Though it’s a small detail, it means the world to us that Mum can see the sea in the distance from the veranda. That view, however modest, brings her real joy and a sense of connection to the world beyond the home.
I can’t pretend any care decision is ever easy, but knowing that Mum is safe, stimulated, and surrounded by kindness has brought enormous peace of mind. Lilac Residence SeaPark really is a lovely place.

Our mom is in the SeaPark Lilac Residence in Melkbosstrand and we cannot fault the meticulous care and attention to detail they afford her. The facility is always spotless and residents are cared for with love. This is by no means an easy job to do but the staff there go the extra mile and communicate with us as a family. We are constantly sent photos of their fun activities and mom's favourites are the Chair Pilates they do with a qualified physio and of course Bingo. Most importantly, we have peace of mind knowing that she is cared for while we sleep and are at work. It has honestly been the best option for us and her. It has made her far more social and she chats about friends who sit and knit with her and watch their favourite soapies. It really is home from home.

My mom was a resident at SeaPark. I can highly recommend them. They took care of her every need,with love and compassion. They fed her. Bathed her. Washed and blow dryed her hair AND did her make-up everyday,often sending me fotos of how pretty mom look. Her washing was done,all I had to do was show up for visits,which I did every day for 2 months,I visited different times during the day and late afternoon. I ALWAYS found her well taken care off and happy. I will forever be grateful to all the staff at SeaPark,they went out of their way in caring for my beloved mom.
